Movement Club
Harbor Sports Club - HSC (in the Harbor Dance Studio)

The Movement SDG Club is a self-directed community group in KAUST promoting health, wellbeing, and connection through dance. Led by President Nimisha Rajawat and supported by a passionate team of volunteers and teachers, the club offers classes for both children and adults.
Children’s dance classes include ballet, yoga, hip hop, cheerleading, belly dance, Zumba, and Chinese dancing (taught in Chinese). Ballet, yoga, and hip hop are great options for younger children, while the other classes cater more towards older kids — so there’s plenty to choose from as children grow and explore new interests.
Children's dance classes require advance registration due to limited spaces. Registration opens twice a year in line with the KAUST School academic calendar.
Early registration is recommended, as classes fill quickly - see stared dates above.

Art Club

Workshop starting Saturday 29th August, 9:00–10:00 AM or 10:00–11:00 AM time slot
The Art Club offers fun and creative Saturday art and ceramics workshops for children aged 3–11 years. Led by experienced instructors Ayesha Kapadia (art) and Chris Newns (ceramics), the classes encourage children to explore their creativity in a welcoming and hands-on environment.
All art materials are provided, and the cost is SAR 200 for the full 6-week program.
Workshop Schedule – Children's workshops take place in 6-week blocks and require advance registration due to limited spaces. Classes are held every Saturday from 29th August at the IRC, with two session times available: 9:00–10:00 AM or 10:00–11:00 AM.

The Climbing Wall at IRC offers children an exciting way to stay active while developing strength, coordination, confidence, and problem-solving skills. With several climbing routes and multiple auto-belays, children can challenge themselves at their own pace.
The climbing wall is open to children aged 4 years and above and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration or booking is required, making it an easy activity to enjoy whenever you visit the IRC. The fee is SAR 15 (once-off daily fee), with visitors free to come and go throughout the day.
Safety – Safety gear must be worn at all times, with free rental equipment available. All climbing wall rules must be followed.

The Thai Boxing Club offers exciting Muay Thai classes for children of all skill levels. Led by experienced instructors Ben and Kirra Tan, the classes focus on building confidence, respect, discipline, fitness, and self-defense skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Children learn a variety of Muay Thai techniques, including punches, kicks, knees, and clinching, while developing coordination, strength, and resilience. Classes are divided into three levels to ensure children train alongside others with similar experience and abilities.
Class Schedule – Children's classes resume on 15 August and take place throughout the school year. Spaces are limited and classes are often fully subscribed, so advance registration is recommended. Children can be added to a waiting list if a class is full.
